Clinic Protocols Covid-19
Covid 19 screening prior to each appointment.
✅Prior to each clinic appointment your practitioner will make contact to check in with you and ask you a few health and safety questions prior to your appointment.
- Are you feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath or sore throat?
- Do you, or has someone you have had contact with, have a confirmed case of COVID-19?
- Are you, or is someone you have had contact with, currently undergoing testing for COVID-19 and awaiting test results?
- Have you been to a location of interest?
Clinic protocol
✅ Please arrive on time, not early to avoid the waiting area. Please maintain physical distancing from others at all times.
✅ Please wear a mask if you are able to do so. If you are unable to wear a mask for health reasons, please let your practitioner know prior to your appointment.
✅ All clinic practitioners will be wearing appropriate PPE.
✅ Please scan in using the Covid tracer app or sign in using the sign in sheet in the reception area. This is a requirement from the ministry of health and is not optional.
✅ No contact greeting. You must remain distanced from others where possible.
✅ Please refrain from bringing unnecessary items into the clinic if possible.
✅ No toys or Magazines will be available in the waiting area.
✅ Clients are to wash or sanitize hands on arrival and departure. There will be hand sanitiser available in every room at the clinic and outside the entrance.
Hygiene
Things we ALWAYS do to be clean and sanitary:
✅ We use fresh linen for each client (as always)
✅ We wash our hands thoroughly before and after each client (as always)
✅ We will be disinfecting face cradles before and after each client and using disposable covers (as always)
✅ Our treatment environment is clean and sanitary (as always)
✅ Bathrooms and shared spaces are regularly cleaned and disinfected (as always)
✅ We ask clients NOT to attend if they are unwell (as always)
At the moment we will also be adding the precautions of:
✅ Our practitioners will be wearing masks during your treatment and we ask that you also bring a mask or face covering for use when face up on the massage table.
✅ We provide hand sanitiser for each client on entering and leaving the room and the clinic
✅ We will be using a disinfectant on commonly touched surfaces after each client
✅ We will be asking clients not to attend if they have been in contact with any confirmed cases or if they have been at any locations of interest
✅ We will be asking clients not to attend if they have ANY symptoms of illness – runny nose, sore throat, cough, fever etc
