Revival Massage and Movement Services

We provide all of the following services from our clinic location in Te Atatu Peninsula , Auckland.

We also offer The Feldenkrais Method from our home clinic in Riverhead, Auckland.

The Feldenkrais Method® is a form of neuromuscular reeducation.  When someone wants to reduce pain, recover from an injury, or improve aspects of themselves (usually movement, balance, posture, flexibility, or performance related), a Feldenkrais lesson addresses the whole person – not just the symptom – by eliciting changes in the nervous system. Scientists call this process “neuroplasticity,” which is the brain’s extraordinary ability to acquire more efficient patterns of movement and action if given the right learning environment.

Anyone seeking  efficient, sustainable movement and posture with less pain and greater self-awareness will benefit from the Feldenkrais Method®. Adults and Children with Neurological conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Stroke & Parkinsons also find Feldenkrais life changing.  Since how you move is how you move through life, these improvements will often enhance our students thinking, emotional regulation, and problem-solving capabilities, which brings great relief and empowerment to people battling with mental health issues.

If you’d like more advice regarding whether some Feldenkrais lessons would be of benefit for you, please call us on 09 213 9557 to discuss your condition. Or even better simply book a Functional Integration lesson appointment with Viv and experience first hand the difference that learning a new way of moving can make to your life.

Conditions such as sciatica, carpal tunnel, stiff necks, headaches, sports injuries and many more complaints can be eased with a remedial treatment.

All the structures in the body are surrounded, protected and supported by superficial and middle layers of connective tissue, otherwise known as fascia. Fascia is a continuous elastic sheath that provides structural support for the skeleton and soft tissues (muscles, tendons, organs, etc.)…Scarring or injury to the fascia can cause pain and restrict motion. Myofascial release uses applied stretches to break down fascial adhesions and realign it to its proper orientation. We also use myofascial cupping techniques to work very effectively with your fascia.
